ABOUT TIM HORTONS

Founded in 1964 in Hamilton, Ontario, the Tim Hortons chain is one of Canada’s most popular coffee shops. The Company’s trademark values focus on top quality, always-fresh products,  great value and service and community leadership, Tim Hortons has worked hard to grow into the largest quick-service restaurant chain in Canada. While the first Tim Hortons offered only two products – coffee and donuts – they now provide always-fresh coffee and a variety of baked goods and homestyle lunches.

THE OPPORTUNITY

The new Tim Hortons Kingston office required an integrated audiovisual solution across multiple areas, including reception, cafeteria and meeting rooms. The new facility was nearly ready to open and digital signage and a videoconferencing system were needed before the fast-approaching deadline.

THE ADVANCED SOLUTION

Advanced focused on providing a complete solution in each area of the new Kingston facility, installing the most impactful and effective AV technology into each specific room.

In the reception area, a dynamic digital signage display was installed to showcase vivid images of the Company’s food and beverage offerings. In the conference rooms, Advanced installed collaborative technology solutions that included videoconferencing systems to help employees engage with staff at other locations. The staff room was equipped with large digital signage solutions that allowed staff to participate in public forum discussions and other large meetings that the regular conference rooms were unable to accommodate.
