ABOUT MICROSOFT CANADA

Microsoft Canada is the Canadian subsidiary of Microsoft Corporation, the global leader in computer software, services and solutions. Headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario Microsoft Canada has 9 regional offices across Canada, each dedicated to empowering people through the offering and use of robust and leading-edge software solutions.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Microsoft needed to upgrade the technology in 6 of its regional offices across Canada. The multipurpose solutions deployed needed to upgrade from analog to digital and be easy to use yet robust in nature, to maximize collaboration within the workplace.

THE ADVANCED SOLUTION

In order to meet Microsoft’s unique requirements, Advanced  installed the latest in innovative collaboration solutions in the Company’s boardrooms, multipurpose and conference rooms across Canada. The enhanced AV systems designed and installed by Advanced, provided Microsoft with the ability to support internal and external teams and allowed for accelerated innovation through improved collaboration. Room scheduling hardware and software, an effective and valuable tool within such a large organization, was also installed to ensure meeting rooms were being utilized to their fullest potential at all times.

Each of the rooms within the various Microsoft offices was equipped with audiovisual technologies that allowed for multiple products to be connected concurrently, including Microsoft’s Xbox system. Advanced also installed dynamic digital signage that allowed for regular messaging and showcasing of the Company’s products on a national level.

Digital displays were installed in all cafeterias to allow for regular display programming.  Each of these displays was also equipped to access and use Microsoft tools and products. The easy-to-use, collaborative technology solution provided to Microsoft by Advanced ensures ongoing interactive and innovative workspaces and promotes innovation through improved idea and information sharing.
