ADVANCED IMPROVES INTERNAL COMMUNICATION AND PRODUCTIVITY WITH MULTIPURPOSE DIGITAL DISPLAYS AT MICROSOFT EDMONTON

ABOUT MICROSOFT

Microsoft Canada is the Canadian subsidiary of Microsoft Corporation, the global leader in computer software, services and solutions. Since 1985, Microsoft Canada has been providing nationwide sales, marketing, consulting and local support services to Canadians in both French and English. Headquartered in Mississauga, Ontario the Canadian operation has 9 regional offices across the country, each dedicated to empowering people through the offering and use of robust and leading-edge software solutions.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Microsoft needed to revamp existing conferencing systems and install cutting edge AV collaboration solutions in their new Edmonton office. The solutions needed to be multipurpose and easy to use, with a strong focus on employee and client collaboration.

THE ADVANCED SOLUTION

To create a fully-connected and interactive workplace, Advanced partnered with Microsoft to install innovative collaboration solutions in all boardrooms, multipurpose and conference rooms at the Edmonton office. These solutions included dynamic digital signage to promote regular messaging of Microsoft products, effectively showcasing the Company and its brands. The system was also designed to support internal and external teams, facilitating increased interactivity and employee collaboration.

To ensure rooms would be effectively utilized, room scheduling hardware and software was also installed. This easy-to-use system helped improve productivity among the Edmonton executives and staff. Each room was also equipped with technology and equipment that allowed for multiple Microsoft products to be connected, including the Xbox system. In the cafeteria, Advanced installed more digital signage to effectively showcase Microsoft products and messaging through attention-grabbing displays. The entire visual collaboration solution provided Microsoft’s Edmonton office with a more connected and engaging environment.
