ABOUT MAPLE LEAF FOODS
Maple Leaf Foods can trace its roots back beyond a century through the amalgamation of some of Canada’s premiere food companies. In 1991, Maple Leaf Foods, as we know it today, was created through the merger of Maple Leaf Mills with Canada Packers Inc. Canada’s largest food processor, the Company is headquartered in Toronto with operations across Canada and within the United States, United Kingdom, Asia and Mexico. Maple Leaf Foods manufactures some of the most popular national household brand names including Schneiders, Dempster’s, Olivieri and Maple Leaf Prime.
The meeting rooms within the Company’s Toronto-area offices needed a technology upgrade to bring them into the 20th century and transform them into the kind of collaborative workspaces the food giant envisioned. Maple Leaf turned to the AV experts at Advanced to help them create a presentation space that would connect employees across multiple sites and provide tools and solutions that would enhance communication and teamwork. To do this, the Company realized it had to change the old audiovisual system for a new, more innovative and flexible videoconferencing solution that included complete room automation.
THE ADVANCED SOLUTION
Advanced came up with a solution that met all the requirements of Maple Leaf employees and clients. Existing meeting rooms and spaces were equipped with enhanced and upgraded projectors and screens to promote innovation and collaboration throughout the organization. Backed by a state-of-the-art room automation solution from Creston, the new systems provide Maple Leaf staff with an easy way to connect with colleagues and clients around the world or down the street, promoting greater collaboration and fostering a working culture of innovation, information and idea sharing.
