ADVANCED INSTALLS IMPRESSIVE VIDEOWALLS AND PLASMA DISPLAYS TO WOW PATRONS AT TORONTO`S POPULAR SPORTS BAR LOOSE MOOSE

ABOUT LOOSE MOOSE

SIR Corp, which stands for Service Inspired Restaurants®, is a privately-held, Canadian corporation in the business of creating, owning and operating full-service restaurants within Canada.  SIR Corp currently owns and operates a diverse portfolio of Concept and Signature establishments which represent unique, concept-focused brands that range in offerings from fine dining with award-winning menus, to very active sports bars in prime entertainment districts.  The Loose Moose is part of the Company’s Signature brand.  With its high-energy, carefree atmosphere and a perfect mix of current and classic rock, the Loose Moose is considered one of Toronto’s hottest sports bars and nightspots.

THE ADVANCED SOLUTION

The goal was to join and update what were, previously, two separate restaurants – the Armadillo located upstairs and The Loose Moose, located on the main floor – into the new, visually-stunning and innovative, Loose Moose Tap & Grill. Advanced helped transform the upstairs into what is now the main bar/dining area with a live D.J., plasma videowall and stage area.  The downstairs venue was transformed into a high-end sports bar, boasting multiple flat-panel monitors with a plasma videowall as the main attraction behind the bar.

Re-working the existing sound system and installing some of the most technologically-advanced AV solutions, Advanced turned the new setting into a dynamic visual environment, complete with digital and video displays, to impress patrons and keep them immersed in the action. While some of the AV solutions implemented required little more than some basic rearranging – relocating a video projector to the other side of the bar to project onto a brick wall upstairs, for example, or re-installing client-supplied speakers – other new additions were also included in the transformation. Advanced installed a 3×3 MPDP videowall behind the bars on both levels to display HD video and the sound system can now be played over both floors from the upstairs or downstairs.  A D.J. mixer and new outdoor speakers were also installed.
