SIR Corp owns and operates some of Canada’s most popular establishments including Jack Astor’s Bar and Grill, Alice Fazooli’s, Canyon Creek Chop House, Loose Moose Tap & Grill and fine dining restaurants Reds, Far Niente and Four.

Since it’s opening in 1990, Jack Astor’s has become known for its energetic atmosphere and great menu. Merging classic American cuisine with innovative dishes from around the world, Jack’s boasts a delicious lunch and dinner offering. As proof of its appeal, the Jack Astor’s chain now boasts 32 locations and continues to expand within both the United States and Canada.

THE OPPORTUNITY

SIR Corp. was opening Jack Astor’s Argentia, a premier location within Mississauga, Ontario. The Company was looking for an audiovisual display solution to impress restaurant patrons and help the location stand out from other sports bars in the area. With the new corporate directive making AV displays the vanguard of all restaurant locations, the new display solution had to be large format, unique and memorable to impress patrons and keep them coming back.

THE ADVANCED SOLUTION

As the exclusive audiovisual service provider to SIR Corp., Advanced was the Company’s natural choice when they needed to design a solution for the new Argentia location that would attract, wow and retain bar and restaurant customers. To keep up with the brand’s powerful image, Advanced installed a huge 4 x 4 videowall that makes a striking and memorable first impression. To complement the display system, Advanced also set-up dynamic videowall trees throughout the restaurant and equipped the space with a full system control and AV package.

Now, at the new Mississauga location, not only does the videowall wow and impress guests, it also provides Jack Astor’s with a unique display enticing sports fans to return time after time to watch games and other Pay Per View events on the large-format screen. The new installation helps promote a positive customer experience within the establishment and increase revenues, with patrons who keep returning and referring others to the location.
