ABOUT HITACHI

Hitachi Canada is a diverse company comprised of five operating divisions:

  • Digital Media;
  • Finance & Administration;
  • Medical, Optical & Security Products; and
  • Power & Industry.

Recognized both nationally and internationally as an innovative industry leader, Hitachi provides products ranging from high-quality consumer electronics and multimedia, MRIs and Ultrasound, power generation and power distribution equipment for nuclear, thermal and hydroelectric power plant systems and a wide range of security products.

THE ADVANCED SOLUTION

Hitachi sought out the AV experts at Advanced to design collaboration solutions and implement the audiovisual installations in the Company’s main boardrooms, training room and customer showroom. The Executive Boardrooms were equipped with high-lumen Hitachi projectors and electric screens, controlled by an intuitive, easy-to-use Crestron providing seamless operation for the Executive Team. The principal Executive Boardroom also featured an integrated Polycom videoconferencing system, primarily used to connect executives to other Hitachi offices throughout the U.S. and Asia Pacific, promoting a more personal and collaborative team setting.

The corporate training room was designed in a similar fashion to the boardrooms, but also featured a custom lectern and wireless microphone system. The wireless system allows the speaker or trainer to move freely from behind the podium and throughout the space, to interact and engage more closely with the audience.

The product showroom was designed to be focal point: a client showcase area for new Hitachi products such as projectors and displays. Many unique, state-of-the-art digital signage displays were installed throughout the room and connected using a matrix switcher, allowing for both synchronized and independent images on all displays.
