One of CTV’s most widely broadcast programs, eTalk is Canada’s number one entertainment news magazine. Covering major events like the Oscars, Emmys, JUNO Awards, Canada’s Walk of Fame and The Giller Prize, eTalk is in the forefront delivering up-to-the minute news in film, television, music and more. Celebrating homegrown talent and international stars, in 2002 eTalk became Canada’s first daily entertainment news magazine. CTV is a division of Bell Media, Canada’s premier multimedia company with leading assets in television, radio and digital.
When the eTalk set was moved to the Queen Street (CITY TV) building, the producers decided to upgrade and create a new, fresh look for the show.
Advanced had the pleasure of working with CTV in 2007 during the coverage of the Ontario Provincial election. Impressed by the 3×3 videowall Advanced installed for this televised event, eTalk wanted to have the same digital display permanently installed and incorporated into the show. The visual collaboration solution needed to engage the audience with an innovative and sensory-rich display.
In only three days, Advanced completed this project for eTalk. The final result was a dynamic videowall that showcased entertainment news through a unique and vibrant visual experience.
