BOSTON PIZZA – VAUGHAN MILLS

ADVANCED INSTALLS VISUALLY-STUNNING, HIGH-IMPACT ORION DISPLAYS SETTING BOSTON PIZZA LOCATION APART FROM COMPETITORS AND DELIVERING AN EXCITING, MEMORABLE EXPERIENCE TO PATRONS

ABOUT BOSTON PIZZA

Boston Pizza (also known as Boston’s The Gourmet Pizza in the United States and Mexico, and Bo Pi or BP) is a Canadian-based restaurant chain operating franchises locations in Canada, the United States and Mexico. Founded in Edmonton, Alberta in 1964, Boston Pizza is “two experiences under one roof” – a family-friendly, casual dining restaurant and a separate sports bar.

 THE ADVANCED SOLUTION

A group of Boston Pizza investors were looking to drive more traffic to the Vaughan franchise, located at what should have been a busy interasection in the North end of Toronto at Highway 400 and Highway 7. Investors felt this location had the potential to draw in much more traffic and they knew something exciting had to be offered to attract new customers, while still maintaining the feel and brand of the Company.

On a referral from two other BP franchises located in Halifax, Nova Scotia and Moncton, New Brunswick, the Vaughan location contacted the videowall experts at Advanced.  Advanced supplied a powerful audiovisual display solution that would offer diners and bar patrons a robust and visually-stimulating experience, setting the Vaughan location apart from its competitors. To get the job done, Advanced suggested the Orion M-PDP videowall, a high-impact, plasma display in a 4 x 4 configuration that would be sure to wow restaurant patrons.

This videowall was installed and fully functional within only 2 days.  The high-impact displays revitalized the restaurant’s interior and image. Almost immediately, customers started to come into the location more frequently and new patrons were attracted to the big screen and increased food and drink consumption boosted revenues.

Business has increased almost 20% over the last year,” says Jeff Dick, the General Manager of Boston Pizza in Vaughan.

The vibrant, high-impact Orion displays have been used to broadcast sporting events and other exciting entertainment to patrons, making their experience more enjoyable, more memorable and consequently, enticing them to stay longer, return again and refer others.
