Today, Shaw serves 3.4 million people, including 1.8 million subscribers to Shaw Internet and more than one million home phone subscribers.

THE OPPORTUNITY

Trapeze, a full service online marketing agency based in Toronto and offering Strategy, Design and development in digital was tasked with creating a truly innovative and interactive experience for shoppers.  Trapeze was looking for a visual display partner with retail experience to partner with.  The AV partner needed to have extensive experience designing dynamic and impactful display solutions, as well as be able to complete all work within the Company’s Calgary location.

THE  SOLUTION

In partnership with Trapeze, the combined teams designed and installed an innovative videowall solution for Shaw at its new, prime retail space within Calgary’s Chinook Center.  This project represented Shaw’s first use of an interactive display solution within a retail space.

The new store featured the latest in Orion and Samsung displays delivering high-impact, high-contrast digital images allowing customers to interact with what was being shown on screen. This ground-breaking and unique retail solution continues to help Shaw provide an engaging and memorable customer experience by creating a visually-immersive environment where the customer feels as though they are “a part of the action”. The large, bright displays showcase Shaw’s impressive line of products and services and offer an in-depth look at each, should the customer choose to review it. This new solution leads the way and is an important component of Shaw’s retail marketing strategies today.
